A major update has emerged on Bobby Lashley’s status for WrestleMania 39, following some recent backstage uncertainty.
Following February’s Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event, Lashley began to feud with Bray Wyatt. This appeared to be the WrestleMania program for both top stars, until it was reported that Wyatt had been missing some WWE events due to an illness.
With Wyatt’s status uncertain ahead of the April 1-2 event, many have wondered if WWE has altered plans for Bobby Lashley.
Per WrestleVotes via GiveMeSport, there’s definitely a plan to get Lashley on the WrestleMania card.
Noting that there have been discussions about a potential segment involving the All Mighty and LA Knight, WrestleVotes told GiveMeSport:
“A personal health issue on Bray Wyatt’s part is going to keep Bobby Lashley off the WrestleMania card.
“With that said, I know that there’s a backup plan… I do know that they’re gonna get Lashley on the card in some form.
“I heard the plans for Bobby had something to do with La Knight. I think there’s a tie-in with some type of segment that LA Knight is going to be involved in.”
Lashley has since confirmed that he will be in action at the Show of Shows, taking to Twitter to note:
