The secret behind Sasha Banks' tweets
- Jan-Jaap Abbink
Ever since her post-WrestleMania walkout, Sasha Banks has been posting a series of cryptic and, frankly, mostly nonsense Tweets, often accompanied with glamour shots from the same island photoshoot.
It turns out the stayaway Boss' social media utterances aren't complete gibberish, but a quite specific reference. Sleuthing reddit user u/RunThisRing noticed that the majority of Banks' captions since her April walkout have been taken from the last verse of a Kendrick Lamar song called Mortal Man.
And get this: she's nearly at the end of it.

Does this mean Sasha could be set to return whenever she's regurgitated the last few lines of the song onto her Twitter? The whole ploy seems deviously calculated, meaning we should probably keep our eyes peeled for when she drops the following couplet:
"Finally free, the butterfly sheds light on situations that the caterpillar never considered, ending this eternal struggleAlthough the butterfly and caterpillar are completely different, they are one and the same."
Banks has not featured in WWE since WrestleMania, when she apparently flounced out the company after being forced to drop the Women's Tag Team Titles to The IIconics. It's understood The Boss has since patched things up with her employers, though there's yet to be word on her return to action.
