Twente breaks negative serie with victory over Emmen
FC Twente has found its way up again after four consecutive losses. In the own Grolsch Veste FC Emmen was easily overrun with 4-1.
FC Twente climbs to tenth position with the win. FC Emmen remains the number fourteen in the ranking, with 5 points less than the opponent from Enschede.
After four losses in a row FC Twente coach Gonzalo García had no place in his basic formation for Wout Brama and Peet Bijen. Vuckic remains undisputed and showed why in the 24th and 30th minutes. The attacker made his fifth and sixth league goal. Before the break, Lindon Selahi signed on behalf of the home team for 3-0.
Keziah Veendorp came in for FC Emmen after the break and made the 3-1 after five minutes. After that there was no spectacular catch-up race and FC Emmen also lost the fifth away game of this season in the Eredivisie. Aitor Cantalapiedra signed in the final phase with a used penalty kick for the final score.
