WWE still planning for WrestleMania 37 to be one-night only event
WrestleMania looks set to return to its original one-night format for next year's Hollywood inspired event, according to the Wrestling Observer.
One of the major takeaways from Triple H's recent After The Bell podcast appearance with co-host Corey Graves was his view on the company's decision to split this year's 'Mania into a two-night event.
Because of the ongoing global situation WrestleMania 36 was eventually held in an empty Performance Center. So, in order to avoid a situation where fans at home were forced to watch 7/8 hours of crowd-less in-ring action the company opted to air two separate 3/3.5 hour shows on Saturday and Sunday.
'The Game' told Graves that he felt the two-night event was more of an enjoyable watch and that he'd prefer it to stay that way, stating, 'I think it was much more enjoyable than the eight-hour extravaganza. I think at some point that is probably what it should be.'
However, the Wrestling Observer have reported that the plan is to revert back to the one-night format for WrestleMania 37.
The event is currently scheduled to be taking place inside of L.A.'s SoFi Stadium on March 28, 2021. Yet, it's unclear as to whether or not the area will be allowing mass gatherings at that time with the current global situation still being so uncertain.
