AEW "pretty aggressively" returning to the road this July
If Jim Ross is correct, AEW will be “pretty aggressively” returning to a touring schedule from July.
Speaking on the latest episode of his brilliant Grillin’ JR podcast, Ross detailed how AEW will be getting back on the road in three months’ time. As Jim detailed: “We’re adding more content here sooner rather than later with another show. We’re getting our schedule together. Looks like we’re going back on the road pretty aggressively beginning in July. Getting back in front of a live audience is a blessing. I can’t wait. It will help everybody’s work. You can’t help but feed off of the adrenaline of the people and the audience surrounding you. So, it should be cool.” As soon as the COVID-19 pandemic took hold early last year, AEW moved all programming to the Daily’s Place venue in Jacksonville, Florida. While All Elite Wrestling has been able to have a small number of fans in attendance due to Daily’s Place being an open air venue – with last month’s Revolution PPV having 1,300 fans watching the action live and in person - both the company and fans alike are keen to see AEW return to touring the United States and beyond as soon as it's truly safe to do so.
