A top AEW star was seemingly injured during an AEW championship match that ended in a shock title change.

On tonight’s AEW Dynamite Grand Slam show, there was an International Championship match with Jon Moxley defending against Rey Fenix.
However, the match ending was a bit abrupt as the pinfall victory was surprisingly called in favor of Rey Fenix with no motion from Moxley towards kicking out.

As Rey Fenix celebrated, a doctor was attending to Moxley and the cameras were clearly avoiding shooting him, instead focusing close-up on Fenix, seemingly evidence that Moxley had suffered some kind of legitimate issue.
After the broadcast returned to air on TBS after the commercial break, Excalibur on commentary mentioned that Moxley had been able to leave the ring under his own power during the break.

As you can see below, a photo has emerged of Moxley with his wife Renee Paquette, Blackpool Combat Club teammates Wheeler Yuta and Claudio Castagnoli, Orange Cassidy, and AEW CEO Tony Khan.
WrestleVotes added: “Source stated Moxley walked back towards the arena on his own power accompanied by a doctor & Orange Cassidy.”
