A huge update has emerged on ticket sales for AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2023, following the recent pre-sale release.

The second AEW and NJPW crossover event will take place on June 25, when top stars from each promotion will face off at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada.
Ahead of this Friday’s (March 24) general ticket release, some fans have got their hands on tickets for the event through the pre-sale.
When I say ‘some’, I mean ‘a lot’.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer has now reported that the event has earned more than $1 million dollars Canadian in the pre-sale alone.
$1 million CAD is around $732,000 USD.
Meltzer took to Twitter on March 22 to write:
Forbidden Door passed the $1 million Canadian mark in the pre-sale so far today.

PWInsider has reported that sources have indicated that 11,000-12,000 tickets have now been sold for the event in the ‘massive’ pre-sale.
As of writing, no matches have been announced for the event.
It has been speculated that IWGP Women’s Champion Mercedes Mone (fka Sasha Banks) will make her AEW debut at this event.
