Following earlier reports of a new AEW Wrestling TV show rumored to be called ‘AEW Collision’ potentially on the way, there has been an interesting announcement that may point towards this new ‘mystery’ show coming soon.
The announcement pertains a change to AEW’s upcoming summer Canadian tour, that of course includes the highly anticipated NJPW crossover Forbidden Door II event on June 25.
The change is in relation to the planned Friday, July 14 live edition of AEW Rampage, which has now been announced to be moving to the week prior, on July 8.

Interestingly, July 8 is of course a Saturday, a day that has seen Rampages air before, with this week’s show in Independence, Missouri being one such example.
However, what points towards this event on July 8 potentially not being an episode of Rampage, is that the poster is simply advertising the show as a ‘televised event’, without a specific name.
This could potentially suggest that this event could end up being an episode of ‘Battle of the Belts’ instead – although in the past those have been announced with the Battle of the Belts name – or potentially the as-yet-not-announced third weekly AEW TV show.
Importantly, Fightful Select had noted a “popular rumor” was that the third AEW show could potentially be negotiated to take place on a Saturday night, however, this has not been confirmed to be the case yet.
This all doesn’t necessarily mean it would be the debut episode, just that it would have debuted by July 8.
