A current AEW star has taken to social media to send a message to CM Punk who was officially fired from AEW yesterday.

The firing stemmed in a big way from the backstage incident involving Punk at All In which Tony Khan claimed made Khan feel like his “life was in danger”.
An AEW star has now become the second to outwardly acknowledge the news, that man being Andrade El Idolo.
Andrade was clearly someone Punk was a big fan of as he’d been presented as one of the stars of the new Collision show which Punk had a big part in putting together and essentially chose who’d be pushed.

Along with a photo of himself and Punk backstage, Andrade tweeted during All Out tonight:

The first AEW talent to acknowledge the Punk news publicly was FTR’s Cash Wheeler, who flashed Punk’s “X” gesture during his entrance on AEW Collision last night.
There was also a shot at Jack Perry from Rush on Twitter, which, while we can’t say for sure, many have interpreted to be a reference to the Perry/Punk issues.
