Andrade El Idolo has teased his AEW return following the announcement that CM Punk will be on the Collision debut episode.

On the May 31 edition of Dynamite, Tony Khan revealed that CM Punk will be making his AEW comeback on June 17, when the promotion holds its first episode of Collision from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.
Following this announcement, Andrade took to Twitter to indicate that he has something in common with the returning star.

Sharing AEW’s post about CM Punk being at the AEW Collision debut, Andrade wrote:

Andrade El Idolo hasn’t wrestled since the Casino Ladder Match at the All Out 2022 pay-per-view, and has been recovering from a torn pectoral muscle injury since then.
CM Punk’s most recent bout also took place at All Out 2022, with the star winning the AEW World Championship back from Jon Moxley in the show’s main event.
Punk has now taken to social media to respond to his AEW return announcement, which you can read more about right here.
Andrade El Idolo was previously touted as a ‘headline’ star of the new Collision brand.
