A big title change has opened up tonight’s episode of AEW Collision as the second hour of the program is set to go head-to-head with a WWE premium live event.
In the opening bout of the night, AEW Tag Team Champions FTR put their title on the line against Big Bill and Ricky Starks.
FTR won the AEW Tag Team Championship from the Gunns back in April 2023, however on the 185th day of the reign, it came to an end.
In a relatively short match, Cash Wheeler was put through the commentary table before a final spear from Starks to Dax Harwood sealed the champs’ fate.
Ricky Starks and Big Bill captured tag team gold, winning their first AEW World Tag Team Championship on AEW Collision.
AEW Collision has an early start time of 7pm EST tonight as the show goes head-to-head with WWE’s premium live event, Fastlane – the Fastlane pre-show starting at 7 and main show starting at 8.
