ROH Women’s Championship Athena wants to return to AEW Dynamite and become a Triple Crown Champion in 2024.

With her match at ROH Final Battle seeing Athena defend her championship against Billie Starkz, she has the future firmly in her sights.
Athena’s last AEW match was during the WrestleDream Zero Hour pre-show on October 1, seeing her team with Starkz, Keith Lee and Satoshi Kojima to defeat the team of Diamante, Mercedes Martinez & Shane Taylor Promotions (Lee Moriarty & Shane Taylor).

Prior to that, she competed at AEW All Out in September 2023 teaming with Diamante and Mercedes Martinez only to come up short against Hikaru Shida, Skye Blue & Willow Nightingale.
She did compete in the Owen Hart Foundation 2023 Women’s Tournament at both AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door and on AEW Rampage in June and July respectively.
That said, her focus is on coming back to AEW Dynamite where she hasn’t appeared since October 2022.

Speaking on the Under The Ring podcast, Athena make her intentions clear:
“I think the next step for me would definitely to take a crack at AEW TV again.
“My first time around wasn’t great and I lost to the all-powerful Jade Cargill.”

That appearance would have been in July 2022 when she teamed with Willow Nightingale but lost to Cargill and Kiera Hogan (The Baddies).
She also challenged Cargill for the AEW TBS Championship at AEW All Out in September 2022.

The ROH Women’s Champion would also speak about plans to take more gold in 2024, adding:
“I want to be a triple crown champion by the end of 2024. I am going after all the belts, the TBS Championship –- Julia Hart, the AEW Women’s Championship -– Toni Storm.
“I’m not content with just beating up these fragile broads left and right, this is your warning, I am coming for you guys in 2024.
“It doesn’t matter what anyone says, you got an X on your back and it’s only a matter of time before we get there.”

Athena last appeared on AEW Dynamite in October 2022, teaming with Nightingale and Toni Storm and beating Jamie Hayter, Penelope Ford and Serena Deeb.
ROH Final Battle takes place on Friday, December 15, 2023, and can be seen on Ring of Honor HonorClub.
