All Elite Wrestling delivered an action-packed show with the October 6 episode of AEW Rampage.

Tonight’s episode will see Daniel Garcia, Jake Hager, Matt Menard, and Angelo Parker team up to take on The Hardys (Matt & Jeff Hardy) and Best Friends (Chuck Taylor & Trent Beretta) in a big eight-man tag team match.
Elsewhere in the night, Hikaru Shida and Kris Statlander will team up to take on Marina Shafir and Nyla Rose in a tag team match. The biggest match of the night, though, will be a four-way bout between Komander, Johnny TV, Penta El Zero Miedo, and Lince Dorado, with the winner getting a shot at Eddie Kingston and his ROH World Championship.
The results are as follows:

Match 1: The Hardys & Best Friends defeat Jake Hager, Daddy Magic, Daniel Garcia & Angelo Parker via pinfall
Things started off in a funny way, with Jeff Hardy and Daniel Garcia having a dance-off to start before getting into things. The match was relatively quick, though, as things came to an end when Jeff hit a Swanton Bomb on Garcia for the pin and win.

Backstage segment: Eddie Kingston
Kingston was interrupted by Jeff Jarrett, Satnam Singh, and Sonjay Dutt. They all demanded that Kingston gie Jay Lethal a title opportunity, to which Kingston said he would when Lethal finally deserves one. The segment ended when Stokley Hathaway arrived and whispered something into Dutt’s ear.

Match 2: Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta defeat Levi Shapiro & Wise Guy Ruiz via pinfall
Castagnoli and Yuta made pretty short work of their opponents here, ending things almost immediately with Yuta hitting a big dive off of Claudio’s shoulders for the win.

Promo: Daniel Garcia
Backstage, the group of Garcia, Parker, and Hager were all lamenting their loss. Garcia blamed it on his teammates, to which Magic blamed it on Garcia dancing too much.

Match 3: Komander defeats Penta El Zero Miedo, Lince Dorado and Johnny TV via pinfall
In a four-way match to earn a shot at the ROH World Championship, Komander would walk out on top. In the end of the match, he landed a massive splash on all three of his opponents after running on the ropes, and then hit a big 450 splash on Dorado for the pin and win.

Match 4: Hikaru Shida & Kris Statlander defeat Nyla Rose & Marina Shafir via pinfall
Things almost fell apart for Shida and Statlander, but they were eventually able to flip momentum late in the match. In the end, Shida would use Saraya’s finishing move on Shafir to win the match.
