After a brutal ‘I Quit’ match against AJ Styles, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes was attacked by a trio of foes.

Seemingly cementing the next feud for Cody Rhodes is a somewhat familiar opponent not only appeared at Clash at the Castle 2024 but laid hands!
WWE Clash at the Castle officially kicked off with a hard hitting ‘I Quit’ match for the Undisputed WWE Championship.
While there were tables, chairs and handcuffs involved in the battle, it would prove to be the latter that would determine the match.
Despite having previously been handcuffed himself, Rhodes was able to free himself and then later, put them on AJ Styles.

Rhodes handcuffed Styles to the middle ring rope and battered him with a chair in retribution for Styles having shouted at his Mother.
In the end, AJ Styles would say ‘I Quit’ after Cody appeared to be poised to hit him in the head with the steel steps that had been brought into the ring.
While Styles quit and lost the match, Cody hit him with the stairs anyway after the crowd (and seemingly his Mom Michelle) encouraged him to do it.

However after Rhodes celebrated and was on his way back up the entrance walkway, he was greeted by a familiar and unfriendly face.
Solo Sikoa came face-to-face with Rhodes as then the rest of the new iteration of the Bloodline, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa made a sneak attack from behind.
Despite the momentary three-on-one beatdown, Rhodes wouldn’t be alone for long as he was joined in aid by both Randy Orton and Kevin Owens.

Making the save and fighting back the Bloodline, in the end the trio of Rhodes, Orton and Owens would stand tall to end the segment.
However of note, there was a brief moment where Randy Orton was conspicuously eyeing the Undisputed WWE Championship on Rhodes’ shoulder.
We’ll keep our eyes on that!
