A WWE star has teased leaving the company with a championship amid speculation about his current contract expiring.

Despite Drew McIntyre being prominently featured on WWE Raw, it was recently reported that he and WWE have still yet to come to an agreement on a new contract.
With WWE and McIntyre still yet to come to terms on a new deal, the Scottish Warrior’s current deal set to expire “in the 5-6 week range”.
McIntyre has now taken to Twitter to share an interesting image.

In his post, which you can view below, McIntyre shared a photo of CM Punk blowing Vince McMahon a kiss at the Money in the Bank 2011 show.
This photo was taken after Punk won the WWE Championship from John Cena on the final night of his contract.
McIntyre is very familiar with Punk, with the Scottish star mocking Punk for his injury ahead of WrestleMania 40.

At WrestleMania 40, McIntyre won the World Heavyweight Championship from Seth Rollins. His reign only lasted a matter of minutes, as shortly after winning the gold he taunted CM Punk, leading to Punk attacking him and Damian Priest cashing in his Money in the Bank contract to win McIntyre’s gold.
There has been a lot of speculation about Drew McIntyre’s role at the upcoming Clash at the Castle premium live event, which will emanate from Glasgow, Scotland on June 15.
