WWE’s Samantha Irvin has responded to criticism following a recent social media post with her fiancé Ricochet.

The June 10 episode of WWE Raw saw Ricochet written off television ahead of his approaching contract expiry.
With Bron Breakker attacking Ricochet in the parking lot, the soon-to-be free agent was loaded into an ambulance, joined by his fiance, Samantha Irvin.
Irvin recently posted a photo to her Instagram account of the pair of them together which led to a flurry of comments from fans.

Among the comments were those noting that “Ricochet doesn’t look hurt” despite what the fans had seen on WWE Raw.
In response, Irvin posted a video to her Instagram Story, which can be seen below this news story, suggesting fans needed to take more photos of people that matter to them.

In the short video, Irvin addresses the reaction to the photo, saying:
“That picture is seven months old, so you guys are crazy, like seriously. Not all of you, but obviously the ones in the comments that are like ‘he looks fine to me’.
“That’s insane that you don’t have pictures with your loved ones on your camera roll that you can post in a time of need, when they could use a boost of support.
“You should start taking pictures with your loved ones.”

She would also note that she wore the outfit in the photo back on WWE Raw in December 2023.
WWE has confirmed that ‘Ricochet has suffered multiple upper body injuries and will be out of action for an undisclosed amount of time.’
It has recently been reported that WWE expects Ricochet to end up in AEW after his contract expires.

Backstage in AEW, ‘staff and talent’ have reportedly been discussing the possible arrival of Ricochet, although Tony Khan would not be drawn on the rumors according to recent comments.
Ricochet signed with WWE in January 2018 and has gone on to hold the WWE Intercontinental and United States Championship.
He is also a former NXT North American Championship and was the inaugural WWE Speed Champion.
