Tony Khan has announced two matches to honor the late Brodie Lee (Jon Huber) at AEW Dynamite Homecoming, with Brodie Lee’s protégés set for action.
Wednesday’s (January 10) edition of Dynamite will take place at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida.
This is a very meaningful venue for AEW, with episodes of Dynamite emanating from Daily’s Place throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
Tony Khan has now announced two matches to honor Brodie Lee, who contributed to AEW both on and off screen during the Daily’s Place era ahead of his passing in December 2020.
Lee’s protégé Anna Jay is slated to team up with Thunder Rosa, Kris Statlander and Willow Nightingale to face off against Skye Blue, Ruby Soho, Saraya and TBS Champion Julia Hart.
Brodie’s other protégé Preston Vance will team with Adam Copeland, Dustin Rhodes and AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy for a match against Lance Archer, Brian Cage and the Gates of Agony.
Commenting on the upcoming matches, Tony Khan tweeted:
