A former AEW star is currently slated to return to their role in the company at tonight’s AEW Collision show.
It was recently reported by Fightful Select that former AEW star QT Marshall was set to return to the company, restoring his vice president role he held before his departure.
Marshall left AEW on January 1, 2024 when he and the company didn’t agree to an extension on his deal, with Marshall reportedly wanting to focus on his in-ring career.
In an update on Marshall’s status from Fightful Select, Marshall, as of this week, was scheduled to be backstage at tonight’s (February 24) episode of Collision in Springfield, MO.
Marshall has returned to the company in his vice president role, but is not planned to wrestle for the company as of now.
Marshall is free to wrestle outside of AEW for any promotion with the exception of WWE.
He recently reopened Dusty Rhodes’ former promotion Turnbuckle Championship Wrestling along with Cody Rhodes’ sister Teil Rhodes.
Tonight’s show is set to see Bryan Danielson face off with Jun Akiyama ahead of his match with Eddie Kingston at AEW Revolution.
