After the July 19 taping of AEW Dynamite, All Elite Wrestling taped matches for the July 21 episode of AEW Rampage from the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.

Darby Allin won the Royal Rampage by last eliminating Swerve Strickland. As a result, Allin earned a shot at the TNT Championship at AEW All Out.
