Will Ospreay has offered a ceasefire to AEW’s Jon Moxley for the first five minutes of their upcoming three-way bout at Wrestle Kingdom 18.

Ospreay, Moxley and David Finlay will all face off on Thursday (January 4) to determine the inaugural IWGP Global Heavyweight Champion.
The new title was introduced after Finlay attacked Ospreay and destroyed Ospreay’s IWGP US and UK title belts in November.
While Ospreay does have history with Moxley, he’s more concerned about David Finlay’s involvement in the match.
During Wednesday’s (January 3) pre-Wrestle Kingdom press conference, Ospreay made an offer to Jon Moxley, suggesting that for the first five minutes of the bout they should work together.

Ospreay pitched:
“This is a match between me and Moxley, (David Finlay), you don’t belong here. I am willing to offer a ceasefire for the first five minutes.
“Me and you work together to get rid of Finlay and then we can have the singles match we wanted. To sweeten the deal I have two non alcoholic beers.”

Ospreay and Moxley previously faced off at the April 2022 NJPW Windy City Riot event, with Moxley pinning Ospreay to win the show’s main event.
The only other time the duo have shared the ring was for the IWGP US Title four-way match that May, with Juice Robinson defeating Ospreay, Moxley and champion Hiroshi Tanahashi at NJPW Collision 2022.
There will be plenty more opportunities for Ospreay and Moxley to face off in the future, with Ospreay officially set to join AEW after completing his obligations with NJPW.
Ospreay’s AEW signing was announced at the November 18 Full Gear pay-per-view, with Ospreay stating that he’ll be with AEW for the road to the March 3 Revolution pay-per-view.
