A current champion has publicly addressed the idea that he could follow the footsteps of talent such as Bryan Danielson and contribute to AEW’s creative team.

It has been reported that some current members of the AEW roster such as Danielson, Dax Harwood and QT Marshall have been helping out with the company’s creative for some time now, however, that position does not seem to be one for everyone as Eddie Kingston recently revealed.

The ROH World Champion and NJPW STRONG TV Champion told On Demand if he had any ambitions to work in creative now or in the future in AEW, to which he answered:
“No, I am bad in the sense of, my idea is right, I don’t care about your f***ing opinion.
“So, if I was in control of some kind of creative or booking and I had someone who let’s say I don’t respect it’d be like, ‘Just be happy I am giving you something.’

“Am I going to help them? Absolutely not, let somebody else do it, that’s not my job either, we have producers and agents that’s not my f***ing job either.
“I don’t want to be stressed, I was stressed for 18 years before I got to AEW, I don’t want to f***ing stress, I just want to fight.”

Kingston captured his first major world championship of his career at AEW Grand Slam on September 20, defeating long-time rival Claudio Castagnoli.
At AEW WrestleDream on October 1, The Mad King will put both his titles on the line against ROH Pure Champion Katsuyori Shibata.
