Seven weeks after AEW Collision made its debut on June 17, the Saturday night program’s marquee name, CM Punk, has sent a message of appreciation for all who have made its success possible.

Taking to his trusty Instagram stories, Punk thanked the fans (or Colliders) for tuning in and engaging with the product, while also tagging many of the Collision regulars who have made the show a success.

Punk said, alongside an edited picture of himself giving a thumbs up of approval during his WWE days:
Thank you Colliders for engaging and making Collision a must watch show!
We appreciate the fans who let us entertain you on a Saturday night!
The best is yet to come!
Hard work works.
Nobody works harder.

Punk tagged FTR’s Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler, Ricky Starks, Austin and Colten Gunn, Andrade El Idolo, Buddy Matthews, Samoa Joe, Julia Hart, Mercedes Martinez and Kiera Hogan.
All these stars appeared in some capacity on last week’s Collision (July 29), which was headlined by the AEW Tag Team Championship match between FTR and MJF and Adam Cole.
This main event aided Collision hitting its highest viewership number since its debut episode, averaging 739,000 and an 18-49 rating of o.27.

The episode was also notable for the debut of the ‘Real’ World Championship, the title Punk never lost before his over nine month hiatus from AEW following All Out 2022.
While MJF carries the officially recognised AEW Championship, Punk will defend his title against Ricky Starks on next week’s Collision from Greenville, South Carolina (August 5), with Ricky Steamboat in town as special guest referee/enforcer.
