MJF has now reacted to him and Adam Cole unsuccessfully challenging for the AEW Tag Team Championship on Saturday’s episode of AEW Collision.

On the July 29 show, AEW Blind Eliminator Tag Team Tournament winners MJF and Adam Cole faced off against FTR with the AEW Tag Team Championship on the line.
Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler ultimately walked away with the gold after Harwood rolled MJF up to get the pin.
With MJF and Adam Cole previously rivals, it had been heavily speculated that the duo would turn on one another following the title match loss.

This ultimately didn’t happen. While MJF initially thought about striking Cole down with his AEW World Title belt, he ultimately threw ‘Triple B’ away and hugged it out with Cole.
MJF has now shared a photo of him and Cole hugging from Collision, stating that fans who tuned in got to ‘witness history’.

MJF tweeted:

MJF previously offered Adam Cole an AEW World Championship match regardless of the result of Saturday’s tag title bout.
The duo previously faced off in a title eliminator match on the June 14 edition of Dynamite.

If Adam Cole would’ve won this match he would’ve became the #1 contender to MJF’s gold, however this matched ended in a time limit draw.
MJF most recently defended the AEW World Championship against Ethan Page on the June 29 edition of Collision.
