Find out why a dueling chant of ‘CM Punk’ and others booing Punk broke out after AEW Dynamite went off the air tonight.

After tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite went off the air, Kenny Omega addressed the Washington D.C. live crowd.
While Omega was viciously attacked by Will Ospreay to close tonight’s show, he still mustered the ability to hop on the mic to send the Dynamite crowd off with some parting words.
Well moreover, encouragement to stick around because there was still an AEW Rampage taping to come!

Omega noted that the next week of AEW shows were going to be big including next week’s Rampage, the upcoming pay-per-view, AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door as well as “a hot little number called Collision.”
It was at the Collision mention that some fans began to chant CM Punk to which Omega was unperturbed, encouraging them to do so.
However the chant quickly turned into a duel as then other fans were overheard drowning out the chant for Punk with boos before Omega continued speaking.

Encouraging that AEW was a place for everyone, people who love the Elite, people who are indifferent, people who hate them and want to see them get beaten up, Omega encouraged the fans to watch all of the shows.
Meanwhile in a teaser for AEW Collision, CM Punk teased perhaps going nuclear on live TV this time, saying that he had no idea what he was going to do or say until this happened.
