AEW tournament semi-final set for three-way

In a twist, the AEW Continental Classic Gold League final has become a three-way after Jon Moxley picked up his first loss of the tournament.

After the final Gold league Continental Classic bouts occurred on tonight’s AEW Dynamite, it was revealed that due to a tie, the final will be a three man bout.
Swerve Strickland picked up the victory over RUSH to secure his entry into the semi-final, earning a total of 12 points in overall Gold league action. His only loss was against Jon Moxley.
Jon Moxley and Jay White took on one another in the main event of tonight’s Dynamite in a match that was crucial to determine the tournament semi-final.
As Jay White was able to pull out a victory over Jon Moxley, he earned 12 points and entry into the Gold League semi-final. His only loss of the tournament was against Swerve Strickland.

Jon Moxley for his part was delivered his first loss of the tournament in tonight’s match and already having secured 12 points last week, remains in the semi-final match.
Elsewhere, Blue league action is set to continue for the AEW Continental Classic on AEW Collision this Saturday, December 23.
Set for Collision, a Blackpool Combat Club face-off as Bryan Danielson takes on Claudio Castagnoli.

Also for Saturday, Brody King will take on Daniel Garcia and Andrade el Idolo faces off against Eddie Kingston.
Finally, Christian Cage is set to appear on Collision to address Adam Copeland’s AEW Worlds End challenge.
