The real reason why a planned match at AEW Revolution this Sunday has been scrapped and replaced has been revealed.

A change was made to the card for AEW Revolution on last night’s episode of Dynamite, with the previously advertised ‘Meat Madness’ match being scrapped.
Tony Khan revealed prior to the show that the match had been put on ice due to injuries to multiple participants, with an All Star Scramble replacing it.

The replacement match led to some confusion online following the show, as the three announced participants for Meat Madness (Wardlow, Powerhouse Hobbs and Lance Archer) were all also set to appear in the All Star Scramble match.
Speaking on the AEW Revolution media call ahead of the show, Tony Khan provided clarification on the cancellation of Meat Madness, noting that more names were set to be added to the match, with two being Keith Lee and Miro, who are both sidelined.

Khan said that he would put the match on ice, with it set to take place in the future.
The All Star Scramble match will feature Wardlow, Hobbs, Archer, Hook, Chris Jericho, Brian Cage and two participants to be determined on this week’s Rampage and Collision.
Rampage’s qualifier will put CMLL’s Magnus against Matt Sydal, while Collision will see Bryan Keith, Dante Martin and Penta El Zero Miedo face off for a spot.
