An update has been provided on the potential AEW and Max streaming deal following live sports addition.

Ahead of AEW All In, there were reports and rumours circulating about the possibility of the show and All Elite Wrestling in general airing on the new Max streaming service.
On September 19, Warner Bros. Discovery announced that Max is adding a live sports tier to their service on October 5. The new tier will be titled “Bleacher Report Sports Add-On” or “B/R Sports.”
The live sports tier will be an additional $10 on top of Max’s standard subscription fee, and there will be a free promotional period that runs through October.
Per Sports Business Journal, AEW will currently not be part of Bleacher Report Sports Add-On.

AEW and WBD are partners with AEW programming that airs on TNT and TBS. AEW pay-per-view events air on Bleacher Report Live.
AEW President Tony Khan has expressed interest in bringing the tape library for the company to the Max streaming service. The only AEW content currently on the service is AEW All Access.
WBD Sports currently has rights to MLB, NBA and NHL games, which includes the playoffs and events like the NHL Winter Classic. They also have NCAA March Madness basketball, U.S. National Team soccer, and WBD’s own golf brand The Match.

It remains to be seen if AEW will join the new live sports tier in the future.
JJA Sport Studio will provide further updates on AEW’s status on Max when they become available.
