According to a new report, another major backstage name will be exiting All Elite Wrestling (AEW) by the end of the year.
According to the report from Fightful Select, ‘word has made its way around the industry’ that another long-term AEW backstage employee will be departing the company soon.
According to the report, the Vice President of Live Events & Touring, Rafael Morffi is finishing up with AEW at the end of the year.
While there had been rumblings about the move in the past, according to the report the news seemed to ‘make its way around backstage at AEW tapings in recent weeks’.
Rafael Morffi has previous experience in both WWE and TNA Wrestling however has recently ‘teased new opportunities’ and is ‘expected to be pursuing other interests in 2024’ according to the report.
The news comes amid other notable recent backstage departures at All Elite Wrestling including QT Marshall and Vice President of Post Production Kevin Sullivan.
