AEW CEO and President Tony Khan has addressed whether he will step in the ring for payback on The Elite following their attack.

On the April 24 edition of AEW Dynamite, The Elite’s Jack Perry and The Young Bucks attacked Tony Khan, laying him out with the TK Driver.
The attack was followed by The Elite also delivering a beatdown on former member Kenny Omega in his hometown of Winnipeg the following week.
With Khan not medically cleared to travel and Omega hurt, it looks like there are no more authority figures who can stop the hostile takeover of The Elite.

Speaking with Rick Ucchino and Tony Pike on Cincy 360, Tony Khan addressed the possibility of stepping in the ring for revenge on The Elite. He said:
“AEW is where the best wrestle. We mean that. That’s why I want to make sure the fans get the best matches and the best action. In this case, I’m not the best person to pay those people back,”
“There are a lot of things I’m good at behind the scenes, but somebody else is going to have to go avenge what those guys did to not only me, but to Kenny Omega.”
“I’m quite sure there are more capable wrestlers than I am who can inflict some of that punishment on the Young Bucks, Jack Perry, and Okada.”
“I want to have great matches in AEW. After what happened to me last time, I don’t think I would be making a smart move.”

Kenny Omega will make an “important announcement” in regards to The Elite on this Wednesday’s May 8 edition of AEW Dynamite.´
