An AEW star has said that they’re not the Devil or a goon ahead of Worlds End, and that they won’t be at the pay-per-view.

When the Devil began taking over AEW on a quest to take the AEW World Championship from Maxwell Jacob Friedman, there has been a lot of speculation as to who the identity of the Devil is.
One of the names speculated to be involved in the Devil’s attacks is Wardlow, who has taken aim at MJF since his return to AEW television.
However, it seems as though Wardlow will not be revealed as the Devil on tonight’s Worlds End pay-per-view, as he is currently in London, and sent a rather simple message via his Instagram.

He wrote:
Not the devil. Not a goon. On vacation, will watch Worlds End from London. So stop asking.

Two of the Devil’s masked attackers captured the ROH World Tag Team Championship from MJF on this week’s Dynamite show, when it was revealed that Samoa Joe was working with the Devil ahead of his AEW World Championship match tonight.
