AEW files for new logo trademark

Per the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO), AEW has filed for a new trademark regarding the promotion’s logo.

On May 16, AEW filed to trademark their logo of the letters ‘AEW’ written in the now-familiar style.
This application was specifically filed for use surrounding ‘entertainment services’. You can view the graphic in question below.
The following description accompanied the filing:

Mark For: AEW™ trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of entertainment services in the nature of live wrestling performances;
Entertainment services in the nature of production of television shows and multimedia entertainment content featuring wrestling programs and events; Fan clubs;
Ticket reservation and booking services for recreational and leisure events, namely, wrestling events; Educational and entertainment services, namely, a continuing program about wrestling accessible by radio, television, satellite, audio, video and computer networks;

Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services in the nature of development, creation, production, distribution, and post-production of television shows;

AEW TV is currently building towards the May 28 Double or Nothing pay-per-view.
A new weekly show has also been officially announced, with Collision set to air every Saturday on TNT weekly following the brand’s debut on June 17.
