Top AEW star Bryan Danielson has revealed the unique way that the Blackpool Combat Club stay connected outside the ring.

The Blackpool Combat Club has been one of the most prominent and featured groups on AEW programming since forming in 2022.
The group founded by Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley and William Regal has added the likes of Wheeler Yuta and Claudio Castagnoli to the ranks, while losing Regal when he decided to return to WWE. The BCC continue to compete on AEW programming and the faction has revealed a secret to their success as a unit.

Speaking with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Bryan Danielson confirmed that there is a Blackpool Combat Club book club that helps keep them connected. He said:
“Yes, there is a BCC book club. We recommend books to each other. Reading is fantastic.”
“Once you open the door to the world of books, there is so much to learn. The BCC book club helps us stay connected. We share the belief that reading can enhance your life,”

Noting some of the reading preferences of each BCC member, Bryan said:
“Moxley is a big reader, too. He loves to read and think and analyze. He’s very creative.”
“Claudio reads a little less than we do, but he likes to read. Wheeler, I’m not sure of his reading status [laughs]. We are focused on trying to read more,”

Blackpool Combat Club’s Bryan Danielson and Claudio Castagnoli picked up a victory over Don Callis Family’s Kyle Fletcher and Powerhouse Hobbs on the April 13 episode of AEW Collision.
Danielson will face Will Ospreay for the first time ever on April 21 at AEW Dynasty. For the full lineup for the show, click here.
