A new report has revealed the NFL’s reaction to AEW President and CEO Tony Khan making WWE and Harvey Weinstein comments.

During the 2024 NFL Draft broadcast, Tony Khan appeared in the Jacksonville Jaguars draft war room, sporting a neck brace to sell the effects of Jack Perry and The Elite’s attack on the April 24 edition of AEW Dynamite.
In a new interview on the NFL Network to promote the second day of NFL Draft coverage, Khan said WWE are “like the Harvey Weinstein of pro wrestling,” which caused a lot of discussion on social media.

Fightful Select provided an update, noting that all indications were that NFL Network were happy with Tony Khan’s appearance despite the controversial line.
One NFL Network contact stated that they wanted Khan on the show after him wearing a neck brace during the NFL Draft went viral.

NFL Network knew the interview would garner attention after his appearance during night one of the NFL Draft, and one of the hosts posted the entire interview on social media with the line included afterwards.
JJA Sport Studio will provide any further updates on the reaction to Tony Khan’s WWE-Harvey Weinstein comments when they become available.
