An update has emerged on rumors that a former WWE star had taken over as the new TNA Wrestling ‘Head of Creative’.

Following Scott D’Amore’s departure from TNA Wrestling, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that Tommy Dreamer had taken over as the promotion’s creative head.
However, both Fightful Select and PWInsider have since reported that’s not the case.

Both sites report that the creative team is still made up of Dreamer, Hunter Johnston and RD Evans, the same team that was in place prior to D’Amore’s exit.
Two other names that both sites report as now being involved in creative are former WWE Women’s Champion Gail Kim and Jorge Barbosa.

As for the “head” position, Fightful and PWInsider both name Ariel Schnerer as the person “overseeing” all the creative content – it’s said he’ll be working closely with the new TNA President, Anthony Cicione.
Schnerer reportedly “spearheaded” the launch of the TNA+ streaming service, and had a big part to play in TNA being partnered with distributors like DAZN, Roku, Pluto TV and more. He’s also been highly praised for his work on some content like documentaries and has a “great creative rep”.
So, according to the newer reports, if anyone is the “head of creative”, it’s Schnerer, although Cicione will always have the final say as the new President.
