Several notable stars have now finished up with TNA Wrestling, amid recent speculation about these wrestlers’ next moves.

It was previously reported that the contracts of Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin of the Motor City Machine Guns are expected to be up this month. There had been a lot of rumors swirling about their potential departures, with the duo booked for an independent event that clashes with the April 21 TNA TV taping.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider now reports that the TNA roster gave Shelley and Sabin a send-off backstage during Saturday’s (March 23) TNA taping in Philadelphia.
The report noted that this emotional sendoff happened following the duo’s final appearance for the promotion during the taping, ahead of their contracts expiring. They will reportedly both be free agents on April 1, but appear to have finished up appearances for TNA Wrestling

Fightful Select added that the door has been ‘kept open’ for Shelley and Sabin regarding potential returns, although as of now aren’t expected back in TNA.
Alex Shelley is the most recent former TNA World Heavyweight Champion, with Shelley dropping the gold to Moose at Hard To Kill in January. Sabin is also a former TNA World Heavyweight Champion, winning the gold in 2013.
Shelley and Sabin have won a number of other titles between them, including the X Division and TNA Tag Team titles.

PWInsider also reports that Killer Kelly finished up with TNA Wrestling at the March 8 Sacrifice pay-per-view. TNA is reportedly set to begin teasing a new tag-team partner for Kelly’s previous partner Masha Slamovich in the weeks ahead.
Kelly and Slamovich notably dropped the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championship to Dani Luna and Jody Threat at Sacrifice 2024.
