The premiere of AEW Collision will be headlined by a big trios match.
During the June 7 episode of AEW Dynamite, Tony Khan announced the Collision’s first episode on June 17 will feature CM Punk teaming with AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR to take on the trio of Jay White, Juice Robinson, and ROH World TV Champion Samoa Joe.

Fightful Select had previously reported that this was one of the pitched matches for Collision’s first main event. The news also lines up with reports of Punk wanting to work with Joe and White upon his return.
This will mark the second time that Punk and FTR have teamed up. Their first trios match happened on the June 1, 2022, episode of Dynamite when they defeated Max Caster and The Gunn Club.
