An interesting update has emerged on plans for Will Ospreay vs Bryan Danielson at the upcoming AEW Dynasty pay-per-view.

Will Ospreay has hit the ground running since becoming a full-time AEW star, defeating Konosuke Takeshita at the Revolution pay-per-view before setting up his next dream match.
The British star is now slated to step into the ring with Bryan Danielson at AEW Dynasty in a clash which many AEW fans have been eagerly anticipating.
While this is the only match officially announced for the April 21 pay-per-view, it will not headline the show.

Bryan Danielson confirmed that this match won’t be the main event when speaking with Sports Illustrated’s FanNation, noting:
“Me and Will Ospreay won’t be the main event at Dynasty. That tells you what type of show it will be.
“I have an inkling of some of the things that are lined up, and I think people are going to be really excited.”

The only other bout confirmed for AEW Dynasty is the finals of the AEW Tag Team Championship tournament, which will determine the next set of titleholders.
A tournament is currently underway to crown the next AEW Tag Team Champions after Sting and Darby Allin relinquished their gold following Sting’s retirement match at the Revolution pay-per-view.
